Repetto and Yohji Yamamoto have reunited to unveil the next chapter of their ongoing partnership. For their third collaboration, the storied French dancewear house and the Japanese designer reached deep into Repetto’s archives to resurrect the Bolchoï., a silhouette originally derived from stage pointe shoes, reinterpreted through a darker, more subversive sensibility.

The resulting ballet flat bridges the effortless wear of a casual slip-on with the disciplined geometry of classical dancewear. Its standout characteristic is the structured front, where fine pleating and a squared-off profile subtly nod to the reinforced blocks of traditional performance shoes. Along the opening, a flexible elastic collar gently hugs the foot for a secure, glove-like fit designed for daily wear.
Offered in four distinct palettes, deep black, clean white, vivid crimson, and reflective metallic silver, the shoe fuses century-old French shoemaking with Yamamoto’s signature deconstructive tailoring.
The Repetto x Yohji Yamamoto Bolchoï flat launches exclusively at select boutiques later this month.
