Newcomer Melina Gesto reveals furry dreams when captured by Thomas Lohr for the September 2014 issue of Vogue Germany 2014. After her recent debut on the fashion scene, newbie Gesto has already walked exclusively for Miu Miu during Paris fashion week, worked for Mango and appeared in noted magazines including i-D, Grit and Vogue Paris. With other words, this one is rocking it!
Now she can proudly add Vogue Germany to her CV, a story lensed by Thomas Lohr. Presenting a warm and furry wardrobe starring exclusive pieces such as the fiery red fur dress a la Prada and one of Céline’s minimalistic coats, fashion stylist Nicola Knels was keen on delivering a winter friendly wardrobe, especially for those extra icy days ahead. Matched with a low-toned make featuring brown shades created by Mayumi Oda and a slightly frizzy updo by Tomohiro Ohashi, the looks feel effortless and carry a hint of Gesto’s natural rock’n’rollness. Photographer Thomas has chosen to capture his Vogue Germany story in a simple but classic studio, focusing on Gesto’s incredible presence and not to mention Knel’s thrilling fashion.
