Gracing the October 2013 cover of Japanese Vogue, Chiharu Okunugi’s refined features and strong catwalk presence have seen an impressive show-list turn this season. Tokyo born Okunugi walked a notable 46 shows across the New York, Paris, Milan, and London fashion weeks of SS14. Having caught the in-demand attention of model caster Ashley Brokaw, and Style.com placing her in their Top 10 Newcomers list, she’s been heralded as a significant face since her first show at Thierry Mugler. With H&M making their runway debut with the striking model, and a Chanel campaign under her belt, the 20 year old – celebrated for her street style and striking hair cut – is surely set for great things.
