Antonia (Toni) Garrn was born in Hamburg, Germany to an oil worker and business woman in 1992. She traveled as a child, living in London and Athens for a few years before returning to her native country by the age of 10. Three years post return she was discovered by the owner of a German modeling agency “Modelwerk” at the 2006 Fifa World Cup. She then signed with New York agency, Women Management which sparked her successful epidemic in today’s fashion society.
At age 15, she had a mega debut walking the runway for Calvin Klein’s Spring/Summer 2008 show which gave her a spot in the designer’s ad campaign. In the 2009 season, she landed over 60 shows including Dior, Chanel, Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton. Since then, she has graced the covers of many, many magazines including French and Japanese Numero, German and Italian Vogue, French Elle, Muse, and Harper’s Bazaar – to name a few. Most may recognize her from numerous Victoria’s Secret campaigns that she has been a part of since 2011. Her resume is an extensive one, giving her the opportunity to become the face of new fragrance line “Simply” by Jil Sander.
Toni is also known for her role as Plan International Ambassador for “Because I am a Girl” which is a charitable organization that focuses on the education of young girls in Africa. She collaborated with German denim label “Closed” to design her own line of jeans and t-shitrs which all proceeds get donated to that charity.
