Burberry’s 2025 holiday campaign centers on a film, “’Twas The Knight Before…,” directed by John Madden. The setting is a London townhouse where comedian and actor Jennifer Saunders prepares to host a party.

Her guests are a cast from fashion, film, and sport: Naomi Campbell, Ncuti Gatwa, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Son Heung-min. They arrive bearing gifts. The film follows Saunders and her guests through the festive gathering, from canapés to an impromptu doorstep performance by a family of carolers.

“It’s a party invitation for family and friends,” says Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee, “with some great ideas for gifts.”

The cast wears this season’s outerwear, which reinterprets heritage items with modern silhouettes and details. Saunders wears the Heath quilted cape in walrus brown and hemlock beige, detailed with a corduroy collar and a detachable shearling trim. Campbell appears in the Trerose trench coat, cut in water-resistant tundra beige with a bow-detailed collar.

Gatwa wears a new-season marsh green trench that features leather-wrapped B buckles and a Burberry Check lining. Huntington-Whiteley’s short Fitzrovia trench, crafted in Castleford, Yorkshire, reworks tradition with a fuller skirt and domed metal buttons engraved with the Burberry crest and unicorns.

Son Heung-min wears two looks: the Harrogate duffle coat in scout green, woven with blanket-inspired stripes and finished with buffalo-horn toggles, and a garment-dyed cotton Harrington jacket featuring a knitted Equestrian Knight.

The broader gift selection includes bags like the Bloomsbury tote and Highlands backpack, cashmere scarves, and soft accessories. Childrenswear features knits, shirts, and dresses. Burberry Goddess and Burberry Hero fragrances are also part of the offering.

Burberry is offering complimentary personalized embroidery on check scarves and cashmere sweaters. Customers can add up to five initials or new icons, with new thread options available.

This year, Burberry partners with Claridge’s in London, as Daniel Lee designs the hotel’s 2025 Christmas Tree. The installation draws on fabrics and hardware from the Burberry archive. A limited-edition bauble, featuring Claridge’s Bell Boy Teddy Bear in Burberry Check, marks the collaboration. The partnership also includes a dedicated retail pop-up on the ground floor with a Burberry Scarf Bar, and Claridge’s doormen will wear the house’s scarves.

In New York, Burberry is bringing its holiday theme to Bloomingdale’s 59th Street. A pop-up inspired by a cozy cottage will showcase curated gifts, exclusive pieces, and teddy bears dressed in Burberry Check. For the annual lighting ceremony, the store’s façade will be wrapped in an oversized Burberry Check scarf.
