Loli-Bahia takes center stage in the campaign for Virginie Viard’s Fall-Winter 2023/24 Ready-to-Wear collection. Under the direction of Inez & Vinoodh, the imagery fluidly transitions between monochrome and vibrant colors. Inez & Vinoodh observe, “Loli-Bahia captures the essence of the CHANEL woman with her distinct blend of poise and resilience.”
The ever-present camellia motif, intrinsic to the House’s identity, surfaces across the collection: on denim Bermuda shorts, accentuating a tweed jacket, enriching a satin one, or adorning a long jersey dress and boots. Soft hues stand out, like the dusky pink of a chiffon and velvet skirt or the vibrant contrasts on a crêpe de Chine dress. Elements of menswear subtly weave into the designs, as seen in the shorts-suit or the combination of a tweed jacket with an elegant, asymmetrical silk skirt. The designs move with a sense of unbound grace.
Loli-Bahia notes, “The campaign evokes a nineties vibe, vintage elegance, and introduces fresh styles. The hair and makeup, alongside the compelling images by Inez & Vinoodh, beautifully highlight the collection’s spirit.”
The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2023/24 Ready-to-Wear collection will be available in boutiques from 15th September.
