In the storied courtyard of Milan’s Castello Sforzesco, Versace lit up the night with a collection that felt like a bolt of lightning—a crackling surge of joy and spontaneity. Donatella Versace, ever the maestro of opulence, unveiled a Spring 2025 lineup that didn’t just walk the runway—it danced, laughed, and lived.
The setting was nothing short of electrifying. An illuminated fissure sliced through the ancient stone of the courtyard, as if the universe itself decided to inject some modern magic into the historic venue. Classical melodies warped into electronic beats, echoing the collection’s blend of timeless elegance and contemporary edge.
At the heart of this collection is a celebration of freedom—freedom from conventions, from the mundane, from anything that dulls the sparkle of individuality. Donatella reimagined “more is more” not as a call for excess, but as an invitation to embrace more joy, more color, more life. Footwear for men spanned delicate sandals, hardware-adorned styles, and heeled rider boots, with fresh takes on the iconic Mercury trainer. Gilded bijoux elements, inspired by the Acanto leaf of the Barocco, adorned garments, adding that unmistakable Versace gleam.
