Courrèges is turning heads again with the latest addition to its Hyper collection: Hyper “Iris.” Known for its futuristic designs and playful edge, the French fashion house introduces a scent that’s both floral and woody, capturing the essence of modern sophistication.
Nearly half a century after launching its inaugural perfume, Empreinte, Courrèges is back in the fragrance spotlight under the creative direction of Nicolas Di Felice. The brand reignited its olfactory journey with an initial release of five scents, eventually expanding to seven—all echoing the innovative spirit of founder André Courrèges.
Following the success of the Colorama range, Courrèges unveiled the Hyper collection—a trio of bold fragrances encased in sleek chrome bottles. With Hyper “Iris” joining the lineup alongside “Oud,” “Musc,” and “Cuir,” the trio evolves into a quartet that pushes the boundaries of contemporary perfumery.
Crafted with rare ingredients, Hyper “Iris” is an androgynous eau de parfum that opens with fresh violet leaves, moves into a heart of rich iris, and settles on a base of cedar wood. True to its name—derived from the Greek word ‘hypér,’ meaning intensity and excess—this fragrance offers a modern twist on florals that’s both elevated and edgy.
