The French Maison’s curated lineup features graphic Damier patterns and striking Tambour timepieces.

Forget the socks and monogrammed mugs when Louis Vuitton is offering up saffron sapphires and Damier-check diamonds this Father’s Day. Just in time for the occasion, the maison unveils its 2025 high-style gift lineup – a duo of limited-edition Tambour timepieces and the brand-new Le Damier de Louis Vuitton fine jewelry collection.
Leading the charge on the watch front are two extravagant iterations of the Tambour, Louis Vuitton’s signature drum-shaped timepiece. One model in 18k yellow gold boasts a deep black onyx dial framed by a ring of baguette-cut saffron sapphires, a rich tonal harmony that nods to the house’s classic palette. Its counterpart, in weighty platinum, features a bezel gleaming with a rainbow gradient of sapphires and rubies that continue onto the hour markers for a prismatic light show. Both automatic watches sport a contemporary 40 mm slim profile and integrated bracelet, and both are ultra-limited editions – just 30 pieces for the gold onyx version and 50 for the platinum rainbow.

Not to be outshone, the new Le Damier jewelry line transposes the house’s iconic checkerboard pattern (born in 1888) into glittering gold and diamonds. The 12-piece collection is entirely unisex, offering stackable rings, sleek bracelets, and even a delicate pendant necklace, all unified by the Damier’s graphic rows of polished gold squares and diamond pavé. These Father’s Day exclusives speak to Louis Vuitton’s design language of storied heritage and contemporary style – whether through a flash of gemstone bravado on the wrist or a dynamic pattern reimagined as cutting-edge adornment.
