The upcoming Paris Haute Couture Week, scheduled from July 7 to 10, 2025, is set to be a transformative moment in fashion. With 27 shows on the calendar (see full list below), the event marks significant transitions for two major fashion houses.

On July 9 at noon, Demna will present his final couture collection for Balenciaga, concluding a decade-long tenure that revitalized the brand’s couture presence. His departure paves the way for Pierpaolo Piccioli, formerly of Valentino, to assume the role of creative director at Balenciaga starting July 10.

Later that evening, at 7:30 p.m., Glenn Martens will debut his first collection for Maison Margiela. Appointed as creative director in January, Martens’ inaugural Artisanal collection is highly anticipated, marking the brand’s return to the runway since John Galliano‘s final show in January 2024.

Notably absent from this season’s schedule are Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Valentino. Dior’s absence follows the appointment of Jonathan Anderson as the new creative director, succeeding Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The week will commence with Schiaparelli‘s show on July 7 at 10 a.m., and conclude with Germanier’s presentation on July 10 at 5:30 p.m. Other returning houses include Chanel, presenting its final studio-designed collection before Matthieu Blazy‘s debut in October, and Giorgio Armani Privé, which has adjusted its showtimes to 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. on July 8.
