Ressence has just introduced its most streamlined creation yet: the TYPE 9. This watch is all about essentials, peeling back everything unnecessary to focus on pure function.
Since its start in 2010, Ressence has championed clean designs and that captivating rotating dial. But the TYPE 9 goes even further. Encased in their first 39mm Grade 5 titanium case, it’s impressively light at just 39 grams and measures 11mm in thickness.
The dial keeps it straightforward—displaying only hours and minutes. The hour disc shows just the numbers 9 and 3, while the bezel marks every five minutes. It’s timekeeping in its simplest form.
In typical Ressence style, there’s no crown disrupting the silhouette. Setting the time and winding the watch happens through the caseback—a signature move that keeps the lines uninterrupted.
Available worldwide starting November 2024, the TYPE 9 launches in a sleek grey, with a vibrant aqua-blue version arriving in February 2025. Priced at CHF 12,500 (around $14,130), it’s a statement piece for those who appreciate minimalism.
