Building on its mission to foster significant change, the program is introducing a Creative Fellows Initiative. This selective initiative, initially available to past scholarship recipients of the Changemakers program, will offer a grant of up to $25,000 and mentorship to help these Fellows further their impactful work, particularly in projects that blend creativity with a solid business plan.

To mark the fifth chapter of its North American Changemakers program, Gucci will organize a special event in Washington, DC, at The REACH, located at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The event will feature discussions with influential figures in social change and the arts, including Brittany Packnett Cunningham, Wawa Gatheru, Imani Ellis, Hannah Traore, and Yetunde Sapp. Additionally, a new film by Zen Pace will be premiered, aligning with this year’s theme of igniting creative opportunity.

Since its inception in 2019, the Gucci Changemakers North America initiative has contributed over $6.5 million to community and educational programs, positively affecting over 600,000 community members. The program has supported over 40 non-profit organizations through its Impact Fund and awarded more than 70 scholarships. The Impact Fund now operates on a rolling application process until September 2024, offering grants of up to $50,000. The Scholarship Program continues to support students, offering up to $20,000 based on financial need.

Additionally, Gucci has expanded this initiative to the EMEA region, with a new chapter in London. In partnership with the London College of Fashion and the University of the Arts London, this expansion aims to provide scholarships to students facing financial challenges and to drive positive change in London’s fashion and creative sectors.
