Daisy Edgar Jones attended Universal Pictures’ Sense and Sensibility Book Club Q&A in London on September 23 wearing Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2026–2027 look, designed by Daniel Roseberry.
Edgar-Jones’s style for the event balanced the formality of a white shirt and black skirt with Schiaparelli’s surrealist humor. The crepe shirt’s gold keyhole buttons worked as built-in jewelry, while the asymmetrical taffeta skirt’s reptile-inspired pleating brought an animal motif into an otherwise sober palette. The keyhole also carries a connection to the house’s founder: Elsa Schiaparelli originally designed it as a handbag clasp, and Roseberry continues to use it across clothing and accessories.
Edgar-Jones plays Elinor Dashwood opposite Esmé Creed-Miles’s Marianne in Georgia Oakley’s adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. The film opens in the UK on September 25 and in U.S. theaters on October 16.
