Louis Vuitton caps its Murakami anniversary with a 70-piece drop and a Zendaya campaign.

Twenty years after Louis Vuitton invited Takashi Murakami’s technicolor universe onto its Monogram canvas, the partnership closes its anniversary trilogy with Chapter Three, arriving worldwide on 22 May 2025 alongside the women’s Resort collection. Zendaya, photographed by Inez and Vinoodh against a Mediterranean backdrop, fronts the campaign, framed by outsized, smiling cherry characters.
More than 70 pieces anchor the drop. Bags, luggage, raffia mules, silk squares, a bicycle, and assorted summer accessories carry Murakami’s cherry motif—two candy-bright fruits on a green stalk—applied through multi-step serigraphy and other technical processes.

Classic brown Monogram shares the stage with a new white Monogram whose glossy 3-D print sharpens the cherries’ sheen on Speedy, Alma, and Side Trunk shapes. Capucines bags pick up metal cherry charms and hidden icons on zip pulls, while a blue-denim capsule embroiders cherries across the Pochette Accessoires, Sunset, and Keepall 45, plus seasonal gifts like a folding fan and a deck chair.
Footwear leans into vacation spirit: Monogram-denim cherries bloom on Romy ballerinas and Maya platform sandals; white sneakers, Bom Dia mules, and other slides echo the theme. Two silhouettes—Cherie in raffia and Lily in denim—debut a sculpted 3-D cherry heel.

Silk squares offer a lighter way to wear the icon, and cherry bag charms clip on for extra color. Together, the range reiterates the collaboration’s place in 21st-century fashion lore, proving the Murakami cherries still resonate across generations—and look set to do so long after this closing chapter.
