Behind-the-scenes elegance gets its close-up, with Angelina and the Gancini pump as the star accessories.
Ferragamo’s Pre-Fall 2025 campaign, titled L’Appuntamento, embraces the house’s deep-rooted connection to cinema, paying tribute to the brand’s storied Hollywood legacy. Directed by award-winning Italian filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher, the first installment of a three-chapter short film explores the intersection of classic Hollywood glamour and meticulous Italian craftsmanship. The campaign captures the quiet, often unseen moments of preparation that transform a performer into an iconic screen presence.

In the film, actress Angelina Kendall is portrayed in the intimate moments just before stepping onto set. Rohrwacher’s cinematic eye elevates these simple acts—powdering a face, polishing Ferragamo’s signature Gancini pumps, and clutching a meticulously crafted handbag—into symbols of elegance and anticipation.

Creative Director Maximilian Davis cleverly frames the pumps as both objects of desire and essential props in the making of a star, underscoring Ferragamo’s ongoing narrative of effortless sophistication. Drawing parallels between cinema’s hands-on production and Ferragamo’s own artisanal heritage, the campaign emphasizes manual artistry as a timeless form of luxury.
