Swiss label On is joining forces with FKA Twigs for another chapter of boundary-pushing style. Their Spring/Summer 2025 drop, “The Body Is Art, Part II,” focuses on apparel and footwear built for movement—with a twist of artistry.
FKA Twigs directed and stars in a one-minute film that ties together a cast including Paralympic wheelchair athlete Léa Bayekula, IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Michelle Mensah, and dancer-movement director Nana Yaa. Each sets a new tone for performance by revealing how physicality can transcend raw athleticism. “It’s about pushing personal boundaries, redefining beauty through function, and celebrating what the body can do,” FKA Twigs shared in a statement. “Movement isn’t just performance; it’s expression, power, and transformation.”
On, which hit the New York Stock Exchange in 2021 and has consistently reported strong growth, has spent the last year broadening its lifestyle category—an arena where FKA Twigs’s creative lens fits seamlessly. The brand also recently brought Zendaya on board for a multiyear deal. “It’s no secret that I’ve been a big fan of On for a long time—I’m always wearing them on set or when I’m traveling, rehearsing or running around with my dog,” Zendaya said. She joins longtime collaborator and investor Roger Federer, boosting On’s star power further.
With design informed by performance research and an eye on sustainability (the label’s Cyclon program recycles worn-out footwear), On continues to champion the belief that movement is a personal statement, not just a workout. That sentiment resonates in Twigs’s latest visual project and signals how On, once just a running-shoe disruptor, is now an all-around culture driver.
