Miu Miu leans into festive irreverence for its Holiday Campaign 2024, captured by Lengua. Front and center is Emma Corrin, delivering a vision that takes cues from antique holiday portrait postcards—each frame drenched in nostalgia, reimagined through a modern lens. The scene is stripped back: silk-wrapped walls, a grand piano, an armchair, all elements pared down to a suggestion. It’s the kind of minimalism that feels lush rather than cold, with the play of light and shadow lending an almost dreamlike quality.
Corrin and the other protagonists run through an abstract seasonal script, as moments tick by, wardrobe shifting in tandem. Each posture, each new camera angle, reveals layers of a character caught between past and present—a play on contrasts that’s echoed in the clothes. The result is a collision of casual, personal warmth with after-dark glamour: moccasins and slippers morph into knee boots, glossed brogues, and plume sneakers. There are feathered pieces, gloves that hit just the right note of nostalgia, and bags—Arcadie, Aventure, Penny, and Wander—each one ready for whatever the season throws.
The 2024 Upcycled collection makes an entrance, too. Pieces pulled from the archives, from deadstock yarn to kilts and leather, reinvented with a nod to Miu Miu’s love of vintage. It’s about uniqueness and sustainability, each garment one-of-a-kind, yet seamlessly fitting into this dreamy narrative. The holiday is here—optimism, wonder, and just a hint of mischief.
