A deep-mahogany acetate frame created for Zsa-Zsa Korda on set now enters retail in a run of ten, each numbered and stamped “Anderson/del Toro.”

Oliver Peoples has partnered with Wes Anderson on The Phoenician Scheme, the director’s forthcoming caper, creating a purposeful prop that now crosses into retail. Only ten pairs of sunglasses—exact replicas of the style worn by Benicio del Toro’s lead character, Zsa-Zsa Korda—have been produced, turning a set detail into a collector’s item.

Hand-made in Italy, the frames carry a deep mahogany acetate that angles into an upswept silhouette, set with true-brown lenses and universal-fitting nose pads. Each piece is individually numbered and stamped with “Anderson/del Toro” beside the film’s logo. The packaging continues the narrative: a case, cleaning cloth and box all reference a vintage screen prop that figures prominently in the plot.

Only ten units will reach Oliver Peoples boutiques in New York ahead of the film’s 6 June release, though remote purchase is an option. Interested clients are advised to contact their nearest store for availability.
