Loewe introduces the Double L loafer, a hand-sewn style in supple calfskin or suede with a rounded toe and a gathered upper. Its deconstructed shape is meant to bring, per LOEWE, “a relaxed attitude to a classic silhouette,” with a tonal Double L signature across the top.
Inside, the loafer is, per the brand, “lined in soft calfskin for a glove-like feel,” with an ergonomic padded insole underfoot. A rubber insert in the flexible leather outsole is intended to add grip.
Both versions cost $1,150 on LOEWE, where the new style joins the Oval and Toggle in the women’s loafer selection. The four launch colors are Black, Caramel Latte, Dark Chocolate and Deep Purple.
