Founder Peter Do, originally from Biên Hòa, Vietnam, relocated to the outskirts of Philadelphia when he was 14. He honed his skills in Fashion Design at the esteemed Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and was honored with the first LVMH Graduate Prize in 2014. His pursuit of excellence led him to roles at Céline’s RTW atelier and subsequently at Derek Lam, enriching his expertise in the field.

Peter Do’s eponymous brand is much more than just clothes; it’s a communal endeavor built on pristine tailoring and a commitment to sustaining New York’s garment district. He initiated this project along with his close associates: Vincent Ho, Jessica Wu, Lydia Sukato, and An Nguyen, each playing a crucial role in the brand’s development. May 2023 marked a significant milestone for Peter Do, as he was named the creative director of Helmut Lang, with his first collection, Spring/Summer 2024, showcased during New York Fashion Week.

Peter Do is no stranger to accolades, being part of the illustrious 2020 LVMH Prize class of co-winners and receiving nominations for the 2020 CFDA Emerging Designer Award and 2021 Designer of the Year Award. He was also a finalist for the 2022 Woolmark Prize and the 2022 ANDAM Prize.
