Ajah Angau, who was born in South Sudan and raised in Nigeria, has swiftly climbed the ranks in the fashion industry thanks to her distinct look and powerful runway presence. In 2022, she gained significant attention by walking for high-profile brands such as Saint Laurent at major fashion weeks in Paris and Milan, highlighting her versatility and strong presence on the runway.

Throughout 2023, Ajah continued to establish herself in the fashion scene. She appeared in Saint Laurent’s digital ad campaign for Spring 2023, directed by Vanessa Beecroft, which featured a large ensemble showcasing the brand’s sharp, elegant designs. Ajah also walked in multiple fashion shows for brands including Prada, Carven, and Marni, participating in both their seasonal collections and high-profile campaigns.

Her runway work is complemented by significant advertising campaigns, most notably with Prada for their Spring/Summer 2024 collection photographed by Willy Vanderperre, which was highly celebrated for its creative direction and sophisticated aesthetic.
