Remi Wolf, California Singer-Producer, schedules her album Mud for October 9th. She released the lead single “Twiggy” last month. The drop followed a debut the previous weekend, when Wolf walked onto Hayley Williams’ Newport Folk Festival stage for an unannounced appearance.
The track targets the emotional gaps of past partners. “I wrote ‘Twiggy’ about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability,” she said.
Dragging those memories into the vocal booth established a grim baseline before recording began. “I literally felt like I was covered in shit,” she said.
Finishing the studio sessions washed the dirt away. “And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear,” she said.
