For Summer 2025 Alaïa steps into open air with “Archetypes,” a campaign centered on freedom, motion and the pull of long days. Photographer Tyrone Lebon captured Anok Yai and Binx Walton against sunlit terraces in the South of France, their movements in quiet dialogue with the light.

Creative director Pieter Mulier keeps close to the Maison’s established codes. Swimwear hugs the torso, spiral skirts and dresses trace clean architectural lines, and the house’s signature bustier serves as a precise anchor.

Accessories share the spotlight. Updated takes on Le Teckel, Le Cœur and the Hip bag sit beside spiral hoop earrings, bracelets, mask sunglasses, ballerinas and sculptural heels, each piece sharp against tiled water.

The location mirrors those shapes. Poolside arches, floating loungers and curved deck chairs echo the garments’ spirals, turning the set into a calm extension of the clothes. In Lebon’s frames Yai and Walton move without hurry, tracing the campaign’s theme of summer freedom while giving Mulier’s collection a clear, graphic stage.
