Kith’s original Manhattan flagship gets a top-to-bottom revamp, decked in walnut, marble and modern flair.

Kith’s Manhattan flagship is officially open to the public with a newly revamped store in its historic SoHo address, 337 Lafayette Street. Over a period of four months, the renovation redesigned the approximately 10,000-square-foot, three-story space as a meticulously curated menswear destination. Formerly celebrated for its stark-white, minimalist design by architecture and interior design firm Snarkitecture, the new interior now reflects warmer, luxury-influenced details in the vision of founder Ronnie Fieg.
The reimagined flagship is characterized by an upscale aesthetic with rich materials and clean finishes. Upon entry on the ground floor, patrons are greeted by floors of white oak accented with details of Nero Marquina marble, brass accents, and plush leather-lined shelving. A staircase in the center beneath a unique barrel-vault ceiling leads patrons up, with dark walnut continuing into lighter oak and green marble arches supporting carefully curated clothing and accessories. The top floor is allocated all for shoes, with a high-end sneaker salon featuring herringbone flooring and slim marble benches.

In addition to these design and structural enhancements, the store adds special new elements including a standalone Kith Treats window featuring signature cereal-topped sweets. In honor of the grand reopening, Kith collaborated with pastry chef Dominique Ansel on a limited-edition “Metropolitan Cronut,” emphasizing a fun yet high-end consumer experience. An exclusive brand-collaborative sneaker with New Balance, the vintage-inspired “ABZORB 2010,” was also part of the reopening celebrations. It’s a confident evolution for Kith’s home base – once a minimalist sneaker shop, now an immersive, marble-and-walnut showcase for the brand’s fresh new vision.
