New Balance and Miu Miu have previewed a new RC150 sneaker on Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2027 runway in Paris. The collaboration, now entering its fifth year, turns to a model first developed for road racing.
Per Miu Miu, “Deconstructed in malleable technical mesh, the New Balance X Miu Miu RC150 is enriched with contrast zigzag embroidery disrupting the entire upper.”
The laces are interchangeable; per the brand, “Sneakers are finished with laces loosely knotted at the toe through external loops.” The palette also draws from late-1990s running shoes, with soft tones alongside bolder options.
New Balance launched the original RC150 in the late 1990s as a performance road-racing sneaker. The 150 in its name refers to that original shoe’s weight in grams, and Miu Miu notes that vintage versions remain difficult to find.
The New Balance x Miu Miu RC150 show pieces will be available in selected Miu Miu stores and at miumiu.com in February 2027.
