Louis Vuitton is suiting up for Spring/Summer 2027. Creative Director Pharrell Williams' Formal menswear Collection lands September 3, 2026, made for the office and everything dressier, a range the house frames as "modern functionality for today's business standard, nodding to the original preppy guidelines."
The Louis Vuitton men's Formal Collection spans ready-to-wear, bags, accessories, and shoes, transitional and back-to-school essentials ahead of Spring/Summer 2027, with Timeless Business and Modern Tailoring covering daytime and an Evening category for formal occasions.
The suiting follows the wider Gaston, the slimmer Napolitana, and the more traditional, fitted Pont Neuf, all offered made-to-measure and in ready-to-wear. Louis Vuitton calls them "updated with approachability while staying true to a reference of pure elegance," and keeps the branding near-invisible, suspended LV logo medallions, snaps and cufflinks, horn and metal buttons, inlaid leather zipper pulls, embroidered patches, and Monogram patterns scattered so faintly they read as depth in wool and cashmere blends cut with silk.
Williams reworks the tracksuit jacket into formalwear, pairing smooth calf with felted wool and snap flap pockets in one style and flipping a reversible wool-cashmere between allover Monogram and a single strass insignia in another. A merino knit version comes banded in Mini Monogram-stamped leather, and each carries an upright collar that zips closed or folds open.
Eveningwear filters tuxedo codes through workwear silhouettes, in satin-accented grain-de-Poudre wool or sweater-like knit. Double-knee paneling picks up Monogram Flower rivets, and shawl-collar wrap fronts close over Monogram silk linings. Crystal Damier buttons and beaded embroideries finish the dressier pieces, with fluid superfine wool crewnecks softening the codes further. Shirting comes in Monogram poplin and a matte-and-shine Mini Monogram jacquard silk satin, cut to work day into evening.
A three-in-one technical jacket layers water-repellent zip-up wool twill over a high-collared nylon Monogram vest with a packable hood. For harsher weather, a winter-ready wool-cotton scooter parka and a reversible padded wool flannel gilet carry cinching waists and water-repellent flipsides, pared-down neutral silhouettes with barely-there branding.
The LV Aerogram line, its shapes drawn from airport tarmac arrows, adds chocolate brown on the Fastline Backpack and Boarding Messenger, and widens the palette across the Takeoff Pouch, Pocket Organizer, Gate Briefcase, and Avenue Slingbag. Embossed Taurillon Monogram leather goes forest green across the Christopher backpack, Keepall, Horizon luggage, and Dopp Kit, and the Taiga range of carry-ons and small leather goods returns in navy and olive, with grenat closing out the new shades.
Footwear gets a top-to-bottom revamp, opening on the Louvre line, Richelieus and loafers on elongated lasts with repairable Goodyear Flex constructions in softly patinated calf, logo perforations and enchape lacing tabs carrying the branding, the whole look modeled on the prototypical French and Italian dandy. Westminster lifts the Lozine pattern off Louis Vuitton's travel trunks and lands it on rubber-soled derbies and loafers. Mayfair goes English dandy, straight and structured, flexible and repairable, offered as a Chelsea boot and derby with a loafer alongside. The LV Gent line returns in Sacchetto construction, an ultra-soft loafer in suede or buffed calf with an unmissable enchape on the strap, and a glazed calf LV Oxford loafer borrows from the house's Capucine bag, down to the crystal-inset half-Monogram Flower buckle.
LV Signature sunglasses are made for daily wear, camel lenses in silver frames with tortoise temples, or crystal grey frames around dark green lenses. A cashmere Monogram Stellar Scarf takes Monogram Flower embroideries, and ties come in six jacquards, LV Flowers Stripes, Spaced Monogram, Check, LV Patchwork, Monogram Flowers Allover, and Mini Monogram Spaced Out, with bowties and pocket squares held to a Mini Monogram.
