For Summer 2026, Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are heading to the start line together, a Performance Running Capsule built around two of New Balance's top racing and training silhouettes.
The limited-edition drop lands ahead of summer training and the fall race calendar, the New York City Marathon among them, and Aimé Leon Dore frames the whole thing as a meeting of New Balance's "performance innovation" and its own "refined design perspective." The FuelCell Rebel v5, cut for daily miles, comes in a deep cobalt blue with co-branding across both labels, while the FuelCell SC Elite v5, engineered for race day, moves through a green gradient into a black midsole.
The footwear comes with apparel, technical outerwear, and running accessories. The standout among the extras is a Running Utility Vest, fitted with two Hydrapak SoftFlasks for hydration on the move.
Availability splits across two dates and, this time, two brands' shelves. The full capsule, footwear through accessories, releases Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11AM ET on aimeleondore.com and in Aimé Leon Dore flagship stores. Both FuelCell models then reach newbalance.com the following week, on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Neither shoe will be sold in the EU or UK.
