Loewe Perfumes has added five eaux de parfum to its Crafted Collection, priced at $395 for 100 mL in the U.S. Field Diary, Sweet Woodland, Rosetopia, Smoky Rain and Verdant Grove join the existing Crafted Collection Iconos fragrances, which cost $485 in the same size.
LOEWE gives the new releases more atmospheric references, citing a summer storm for Smoky Rain and “sun-warmed bark” for Sweet Woodland.
Smoky Rain puts incense and Virginia cedarwood into a composition that LOEWE classifies as spicy and amber, with pink pepper, bergamot and white musk among its other notes. Sweet Woodland brings cognac and ginger into the opening, followed by rose and orange blossom, with patchouli and vanilla in the base.
Verdant Grove is the one with carrot in its note list, alongside pistachio and bergamot. Iris and caramel also feature in what LOEWE describes as a woody gourmand. Rosetopia gives Damask rose several floral partners, including violet, peony and lily of the valley, while Field Diary combines lychee and orange blossom with sandalwood and musk.
LOEWE’s in-house perfumer Nuria Cruelles composed the five around the LOEWE Accord, according to Hypebeast. The house signature takes its inspiration from Spanish rockrose, which LOEWE interprets through resinous and leathery notes. It also appears in Agua Drop, connecting the new Crafted fragrances to a scent already used elsewhere in the brand’s perfume offering.
The bottles retain Crafted’s sculptural glass form and granite caps, with traditional handblown glass serving as the design reference. All five full-size fragrances are listed on LOEWE Perfumes’ U.S. online store. A $265 Crafted Collection Discovery Set brings them together in five 10 mL miniature flasks, offering a smaller format for trying the complete launch.
