This event offers a window into Catroux’s discerning eye, presenting nearly 200 lots that traverse the landscape of 20th and 21st-century design.

The auction commences with the Bernard Laurent collection, featuring Art Nouveau and Art Deco masterpieces by Louis Majorelle, Jean Dunand, and Jean-Michel Frank. Catroux’s curation reflects a seamless blend of historical and contemporary design. Pieces by Paul Iribe and Jacques Émile Ruhlmann sit alongside works by Diego Giacometti and Charlotte Perriand, culminating in creations by Ron Arad and the Campana brothers. This assemblage underscores Catroux’s ability to harmonize diverse design narratives.

The auction also features selections from a European private collection, including works by Maria Pergay and Paul Evans. Each piece contributes to a dialogue between form, function, and artistic expression.
