Van Herpen’s designs often incorporate unconventional materials and techniques, such as 3D printing and laser cutting, reflecting her fascination with natural phenomena and the human form. The exhibition also features collaborations with artists and scientists, including architect Philip Beesley and designer Neri Oxman, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of her work.
