Dubai’s own Roham Shamekh is set to make waves at this year’s Design Miami with the debut of ‘Pharrell’s Echoes.’ Running from December 4 to 8, the collection reinterprets the timeless theme of the last judgment through the innovative spirit of Pharrell Williams.
Blending art, music, and fashion, ‘Pharrell’s Echoes’ uses Williams’s creative journey as both muse and metaphor for modern artistic disruption. Shamekh’s work reflects a world where traditional boundaries are fading, and interdisciplinary expression reigns.
The collection features white resin chairs with backrests sculpted into the contours of a male torso, a contemporary nod to classical art forms. A standout piece—a bronze chair finished in silver—serves as a striking centerpiece, elevating the entire display.
Through thoughtful design, Shamekh bridges the old and the new, inviting viewers to consider the transformative power of creativity in shaping our shared narratives. It’s a conversation between past and present, anchored by the universal language of art.
