When heritage and innovation collide, the result is a sonic masterpiece reimagined for today. Kith, the American fashion brand led by Ronnie Fieg, has partnered with Brooklyn furniture artisan Mark Jupiter to give Bose’s iconic 1960 speakers a contemporary facelift.
In honor of Bose’s 60th anniversary, Kith was invited to rethink the casing of the legendary speakers that first wowed audiences in 1968. Teaming up with the Massachusetts-based audio innovators, they set out to breathe new life into a design classic.
The outcome is a strictly limited release—only twelve pairs exist—featuring an updated take on the original hardware. True to Bose’s pioneering spirit, these speakers retain the unique backward-facing drivers that reflect sound off walls, enveloping listeners in a rich audio experience. Encased in elegant wooden housings crafted by Jupiter, they transform into statement pieces that elevate any space.
Fieg’s deep-rooted passion for music made this collaboration a natural progression. His commitment to music culture aligns seamlessly with Bose’s legacy of audio excellence. To fuse timeless design with superior sound, Fieg enlisted Jupiter, a long-time collaborator known for his bespoke wooden creations. Their partnership has previously shaped the interiors of Kith’s retail spaces and Fieg’s own homes.
