LOEWE is back with an update to one of its most distinctive sneakers. The Ballet Runner 2.0, a sleek fusion of a ballet flat and a 1970s-style running shoe, officially launches in February, marking the return of a silhouette first introduced in 2019.

This time around, the shoe gets a series of refined upgrades. The house’s signature asymmetric toe remains, but now with an updated ‘L’ monogram on the side, an embossed anagram on the tongue, and a wavy rubber outsole that extends to the toe-cap. Designed for both movement and ease, the sneaker is crafted with LOEWE’s Sacchetto construction—where the lining is stitched to the insole for a flexible, sock-like feel. A soft leather lining and cushioned footbed round out the comfort factor, while the calfskin heel tab features an injected rubber logo in either a tonal or contrast finish, depending on the colorway. Each pair also comes with two sets of laces.

A first drop of the Ballet Runner 2.0 quietly arrived in December, featuring nylon and calfskin variations in color combos like black/white, lilac/white/grey, and a loewe.com-exclusive white/red/blue. The lineup expands in February with a full soft leather edition in black, white, and cinnamon.
The official campaign for the Ballet Runner 2.0 lands on February 3.
