Tyler, The Creator has partnered with Converse once again to unearth gems from the brand’s archive. Dubbed the “1908” collection as a nod to Converse’s founding year, this new capsule revives two vintage 1970s silhouettes with Tyler’s signature touch. The initial lineup features the Naut-1, a casual low-top first released in 1971, and the Coach Jogger, an Olympic-era track shoe from 1976 – both plucked from deep in Converse’s vault and remixed for today’s sneaker scene.

Naut-1 was originally introduced as a boat shoe-style sneaker reminiscent of the Vans Authentic, and Tyler has brought it back with a decidedly preppy twist. The revived Naut-1 arrives in four colorways, including one emblazoned with Tyler’s signature Golf le Fleur Airedale terrier mascot and another decorated with embroidered floral motifs. These whimsical details and patterns breathe new life into the low-slung silhouette.

The Coach Jogger meanwhile returns as a sleek track runner that stays true to its 1976 design. It features a slim nylon build and a suede T-toe overlay, delivering that authentic low-profile ’70s look. Tyler also swapped out the shoe’s original branding for his Golf le Fleur cursive script on the tongue and heel. The revamped Coach Jogger will be available in three colorways, including a vintage forest green, a light sky blue and a warm brown, each evoking the era’s athletic palette.

The Converse x Tyler, The Creator “1908” collection launches in a limited global release on June 20 via Converse’s website, and an early drop is set for a Converse 1908 pop-up in Los Angeles on June 12.
