“Plein Soleil,” Saint Laurent’s summer campaign, turns the Riviera’s glare into a stage for pink surfboards and olive swimwear.

The glare of midday saltwater does most of the styling in Purienne’s new “Plein Soleil” story for Saint Laurent. Nothing feels forced: skin is tanned, hair still scrunches from the last swim, and clothes are stripped back to what a Riviera afternoon demands.

Color and monochrome frames alternate, as if the photographer toggled between memory and live feed. In “Plein Soleil” Saint Laurent sketches a summer uniform that feels both natural and exacting, as distilled as a single chord in a Serge Gainsbourg riff.
