Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez will present their first Loewe collection during Paris Fashion Week this October.

The appointment, confirmed in March, places the founders of New York label Proenza Schouler at the helm of the Spanish house after Jonathan Anderson’s acclaimed eleven-year run.

The pair recently moved from New York to Paris, joining Loewe’s creative offices in the city that will frame their debut. Founded in 1846 as a leather collective and royal supplier, the brand enters a new chapter with two designers known for sharp tailoring and thoughtful fabrication.

“We are incredibly honored to join Loewe, a house whose values and mission align closely with our own,” McCollough and Hernandez said in a joint statement. “We look forward to working alongside its extraordinary teams and artisans, whose talent — under the exceptional creative direction of Jonathan Anderson — has shaped Loewe into the cultural force it is today.”

McCollough and Hernandez remain shareholders of Proenza Schouler and sit on its board, maintaining a link to the company they launched in 2002.

Loewe has not released further details, yet the industry will watch Paris in October for the duo’s first statement on the house’s future.
