Angelo Pennetta is a London-based photographer reshaping the look and feel of modern fashion imagery. Rather than settling into a spot at the London School of Economics, he set out with a camera and a clear point of view. In 2009, Katie Grand recruited him for her final issue of Pop Magazine and simultaneously showcased his images of Lara Stone in the first issue of LOVE.
Since then, Pennetta has become a fixture at i-D, Dazed, The Gentlewoman, WSJ. Magazine, and both American and British Vogue. His work often involves a close-knit circle of stylists—Robbie Spencer, Francesca Burns, Carlos Nazario, Julia Sarr Jamois, Emilie Kareh, Camille Bidault Waddington, and Grand among them. His approach offers a candid sensibility that brings out the personality of every subject, whether he’s capturing rising talents or industry icons.
