Charles Levai & Kevin Tekinel

Charles Levai and Kevin Tekinel, co-founders of the Paris-based creative agency Maybe, have emerged as influential figures in contemporary fashion branding since establishing their studio in 2019. Levai’s background includes working with art director Thomas Lenthal at System magazine, while Tekinel honed his skills in film and served as Chief Creative Officer at Giovanni Bianco’s Studio 65 in New York. Their combined expertise in graphic design, fashion imagery, and film has enabled them to craft innovative campaigns for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Versace, The Row, Coperni, and Miu Miu.

Maybe’s approach is characterized by a strategic, multidisciplinary methodology that encompasses advertising, branding, editorial, digital media, and publication design. Their work often involves collaborations with both emerging and established creatives, resulting in campaigns that resonate across traditional and new media platforms. Notable projects include the Coperni Spring/Summer 2024 campaign, which showcased the brand’s innovative take on minimalistic design, and the Louis Vuitton ‘The Art of Gifting’ 2025 campaign, which celebrated themes of motherhood and intergenerational love.

Beyond their commercial endeavors, Levai and Tekinel have contributed to the broader cultural landscape through roles such as creative directors at large for W magazine. Their work reflects a commitment to storytelling that prioritizes the brand’s vision, often blending art and commerce in a manner that challenges conventional norms. By fostering collaborations that emphasize possibility and innovation, Maybe continues to shape the visual narratives of contemporary fashion.
