Daniel Roseberry
Daniel Roseberry has been shaping the new era of Maison Schiaparelli since taking on the role of Artistic Director in 2019. Raised in Plano, Texas, Roseberry’s upbringing was a unique mix of religion, creativity, and a curiosity for the surreal. After studying at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, he spent ten years at Thom Browne, eventually leading design across both menswear and womenswear before making his way to Paris.
At Schiaparelli, Roseberry has embraced the house’s legacy while infusing it with his own bold aesthetic. His collections revive the audacity of Elsa Schiaparelli’s original surrealism, reimagining motifs like cosmic patterns, oversized hardware, and molded body elements in unexpected, theatrical ways. Notable pieces, like Michaela Coel’s crystal-encrusted gown for the Met Gala and Lady Gaga’s statement inauguration outfit, are testament to his flair for blending high drama with a touch of wit.
Under Roseberry, Schiaparelli has become synonymous with modern couture that dares to challenge conventions. He sees fashion as an opportunity to craft unforgettable moments, keeping the house’s spirit of irreverence and artistry alive with each collection. His work is proof that Schiaparelli is not just part of the conversation—it’s leading it, one extravagant stitch at a time.
