Stef Mitchell

Stef Mitchell photographs candid moments that step beyond the usual confines of commercial fashion imagery. Her work appears in i-D, US Vogue, Self Service, Mastermind, Replica, and M Le Monde, alongside collaborations with Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and Paco Rabanne. Since 2018, she has released several self-published zines—such as Space Moves Like the Surface of the Sea—with longtime collaborators Freja Beha Erichsen and Sydney Rose Thomas. By extending her reach across multiple platforms, Mitchell has solidified her place as a distinct voice in modern fashion photography. Originally from Australia, she is now based in Paris.
