Paco Rabanne, established in 1966, has consistently pushed fashion boundaries with its innovative designs and use of unconventional materials. The brand gained prominence for its futuristic aesthetic, notably through the creation of chainmail dresses that challenged traditional fashion norms.

In February 2023, the fashion world bid farewell to its visionary founder, Paco Rabanne, who passed away at the age of 88.  Following his passing, the brand underwent a rebranding in May 2023, simplifying its name to “Rabanne” to honor his legacy while embracing a modern identity.

Under the creative direction of Julien Dossena, Rabanne continues to captivate audiences with its bold designs. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection, unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in September 2024, featured the debut of the world’s most expensive bag—a handcrafted piece made from over 100 18-karat gold medallions, valued at approximately $280,000. This collection showcased the brand’s commitment to luxury and innovation, blending its iconic metallic elements with contemporary fashion trends.

The brand’s dedication to craftsmanship, social responsibility, and innovative fashion ensures its continued relevance and influence.
