The Gen-Z model winks at her own lineage in a glossy MAC promo alongside fellow celebrity kids and her ever-glamorous mom.

MAC Cosmetics is throwing some serious shine on the nepotism trend. The beauty giant’s latest campaign, “Born Famous”, stars model-of-the-moment Amelia Gray (and daughter of actress Lisa Rinna) as the face of its new Lipglass Air gloss. In a Mother’s Day-timed rollout, the reality TV icon and her Gen-Z daughter share the spotlight to celebrate being literally born glamorous.

In one shot, Amelia sports a tiny tank top reading “Stop Being Sticky” – a nod to Paris Hilton’s famed “Stop Being Desperate” tee from the tabloid aughts. It’s a cheeky way to highlight the new gloss’s big promise of zero stickiness while tapping into Y2K nostalgia. With this campaign, MAC’s team set out to “flip the nepo baby conversation on its head”.
For added star power, MAC enlisted a crew of fellow famous offspring. Zaya Wade, the 16-year-old daughter of NBA legend Dwyane Wade and actress Gabrielle Union, and Francesca Scorsese, director Martin Scorsese’s daughter, joined the Born Famous lineup. Each brings her own inherited it-factor to the Y2K-inspired shoot, making it a who’s who of Gen-Z glamour-by-birthright.
MAC has decided that the “nepo baby” badge of honor ultimate beauty endorsement. The Born Famous campaign revels in its privileged pedigree, with a knowing smile and an ultra-glossy finish. In MAC’s world, gloss and glamour clearly run in the family, and if you were born famous, you might as well own it.
