AMBUSH, the Tokyo-based brand known for its boundary-pushing jewelry and ready-to-wear, is stepping into the publishing world. Founders YOON and VERBAL have teamed up with Rizzoli to release their first-ever monograph, simply titled AMBUSH. Set to launch on March 4, 2025, the book chronicles the brand’s evolution from its 2008 beginnings to its current status as a major force in global fashion.
This large-format release is more than a retrospective. It dives deep into the brand’s archives, showcasing signature pieces that helped define AMBUSH’s aesthetic and cultural footprint. The pages are packed with images of standout jewelry and apparel collections, but what makes this book truly special is its personal touch. Contributions from long-time collaborators like Chitose Abe, Kid Cudi, Hiroshi Fujiwara, G-Dragon, KAWS, Kim Jones, Kunichi Nomura, Jun Takahashi, and Pharrell Williams provide a layered perspective on AMBUSH’s impact.
The foreword by Adrian Bianco of Sabukaru Online sets the tone, leading into an in-depth interview with YOON and VERBAL. Together, they unpack the brand’s journey—from its experimental beginnings to its role at the forefront of streetwear and innovation.
Priced at $65, AMBUSH is available for preorder now through Rizzoli and will also be stocked at AMBUSH® WORKSHOP locations in Japan. It’s a must-have for anyone invested in the intersection of fashion, streetwear, and design culture.
