NYC-based audio studio Silence Please is once again proving that high design and hi-fi performance can share the same stage. The brand’s Hush speaker, known for its compact shape and elevated acoustics, has just debuted in a bright green reminiscent of a certain Italian house’s signature hue. While green accents have appeared on earlier designs—think horn tweeters in pops of color—this release goes all in on a glossy finish that wraps the entire speaker in a head-turning sheen.

Hush, which measures 7x7x14 inches, was described as “perfectly sized for a New York apartment,” in a recent Instagram post from the brand. Silence Please has built its reputation on bridging clean form with quality sound, and the Hush speaker delivers just that. Its 4” Paper Cone Woofer, Tetoron Dome Tweeter, and Ferrite Magnet Drivers aim to provide “clarity, warmth, and precision” across music genres. According to Silence Please, “With its sculptural form and carefully tuned acoustics, Hush is both an object of design and a tool for serious listening,” adding, “It blends seamlessly into a space yet makes its presence known—just like the music it was built to reveal.”

This new iteration comes in a limited batch of 10 pairs available online and another 10 pairs in-store. Though the brand hasn’t confirmed pricing for the green edition, the Hush in black currently retails for $800 per pair. The studio has hinted at future color explorations, suggesting this is only the beginning of Silence Please’s evolving palette.
