Coach’s latest venture steps into a fresh realm: a special collaboration with Seoul-based label Matin Kim that blends each brand’s signature DNA into crisp, utilitarian street style. The new capsule arrives with personalized charms, sharp prints, and playful mix-and-match details, underscoring Coach’s approach to celebrating self-expression. This time, the house enlisted global girl group KATSEYE, whose presence pushes the concept of dual personas—onstage and off—to the forefront.
The collection spans tees, hoodies, denim, bomber jackets, a cargo tote, and baseball hats, all genderless and easy to rework for day or night. Vintage-tinged colorways of brown, gray, black, and blue nod to the sprawling cityscapes of Seoul and New York—two urban hubs that shape Matin Kim’s ethos and Coach’s heritage. It marks another bold moment for Coach, which has been rolling out campaigns that speak to Gen Z’s sense of personal style, while also expanding its presence across Asia with store concepts that fuse classic codes and local street culture.
“I am fascinated by today’s generation’s fluid approach to dressing, and how they are recontextualizing traditional codes of fashion for themselves. It was a pleasure combining Coach’s craft with Matin Kim silhouettes alongside Creative Director, Woobin Kim through the imaginative lens of youth culture,” said Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers. Matin Kim’s Creative Director Woobin Kim adds, “The street style at the heart of Matin Kim aligned so naturally with Coach’s own city roots — it was exciting to blend each brand’s aesthetic and unique design language to craft something new rooted in the expressive and dynamic spirit of our community.”
KATSEYE’s role in the campaign is a natural match for this collaboration. Each member comes from a different style background, yet their bond captures the fluid identities that define the collection. Offstage or center stage, they embody the willingness to challenge boundaries and play with multiple facets of expression.
The capsule is currently up for grabs in select Coach stores and online in Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong, as well as Matin Kim’s locations in Korea and on matinkim.com. It’s street style built for the moment, merging two city-inspired minds into one must-have lineup.
