For its FW25 Men’s and Women’s Pre-Collection, Courrèges embraces circles, cycles, and motorcycles as the central motifs steering its creative vision. These elements intertwine to shape a narrative that merges fluidity and edge. This season, Nicolas Di Felice reimagines last year’s “Carré Magique” with a softer touch, transforming its angular geometry into the “Cercle Magique”—a reinterpretation that feels both contemporary and enduring.
The collection takes inspiration from the 1970s aesthetic of Gianni Piacentino, an artist known for blending minimalist art with a fascination for motorcycles. Di Felice captures this duality, infusing biker-inspired elements throughout the collection. From snap-collar jerseys and strapped slipper boots to embossed logo sleeves, the biker influence is unmistakable. Black vinyl patchworks, reminiscent of car upholstery, and accessories brimming with rebellious energy anchor the looks in a gritty, nocturnal romance.
The standout accessory is the new Holy Eclipse Bag—a compact, baguette-like design that’s as functional as it is striking. A detachable harness strap nods to utility, doubling as a place to stash outerwear during the chaos of a concert or late-night escapade. Elsewhere, a black lace turtleneck hides a discreet arm pocket, merging practicality with an undercurrent of intrigue.
Workwear staples like the trucker jacket, bomber, and tracksuit are given a subcultural twist that feels distinctly Courrèges. Di Felice reworks these familiar pieces with a modern perspective, keeping them practical but injecting a fresh attitude. The biker influence ties it all together, transforming everyday essentials into something with an unexpected edge.
Underneath the heavier leather looks, the collection reveals a softer side with a touch of geometric sensuality. Nude illusion tattoo mesh, bonded lace, and embossed snakeskin bralettes bring texture and a playful femininity to the mix. It’s a wardrobe that feels sharp yet intimate, bold yet approachable—a reflection of Courrèges’ evolving identity.
It’s a collection that feels both grounded and daring, weaving together pieces that speak to the everyday while still turning heads. With FW25, Di Felice keeps Courrèges moving forward, proving that rebellion and refinement can share the same ride.
