Chitose Abe refashions tux tailoring, workwear, and art graphics for outfits that carry the day in one go.

With sacai “EVERYDAY ALL DAY” Spring 2026 collection, Chitose Abe sets out to take the wearer from first light to last call without a wardrobe change. True to sacai’s principle of hybridity, the collection merges formal structure with workwear ease, then loosens both just enough to feel new.

Cotton-cashmere tuxedo jackets and trousers anchor the lineup, their conventional lines disrupted by layered fronts that read as one seamless piece. Sleeves move between two extremes: some tuck into neat, amplified volumes, others fall straight for a softer outline. A single asymmetrical sleeve appears here and there—a quick wink rather than a gimmick—proving Abe’s knack for balance.

Practicality guides the construction. Jackets arrive already stacked, and trousers are cut to feel tailored yet relaxed. Like interlocking puzzle pieces that keep their own shapes yet click into one picture, each element stays distinct while serving a shared purpose: everyday function.

Collaborations expand the idea. Carhartt WIP contributes its signature workwear spirit, while J.M. Weston adds a polished finish. Los Angeles artist Geoff McFetridge distils the mood in graphics spelling “WE SEE THE DAY,” a reminder that routine can inspire when observed closely.
Sacai’s Spring 2026 answer to dressing, then, is not about more clothes but about smarter ones—a wardrobe that moves between roles and moments, showing that practicality need not cancel originality.
