Bergdorf Goodman turns its store into a Ferragamo salon, pairing cocktails with new footwear and pre-fall looks.

On Friday evening Bergdorf Goodman will raise a glass to Maximilian Davis, the designer steering Ferragamo since March 2022. The Fifth Avenue store is hosting a cocktail party for top customers, influencers, actors and friends, giving New York its first chance to greet him on the retail floor.
The visit marks Davis’s first appearance at a U.S. retailer. The timing folds neatly into Met Gala weekend, where the designer will bring and dress three guests.
Bergdorf Goodman now carries Ferragamo’s exclusive footwear range beside the wider collection and the pre-fall ready-to-wear line. Many invitees are expected to arrive in Ferragamo, turning the store into an early preview of Monday’s red-carpet looks.
Friday’s gathering ties the designer and the department-store landmark together at a moment when fashion attention is fixed on Manhattan. A cocktail glass on Friday, a red carpet on Monday—Ferragamo has the city’s next chapter.
