CHANEL’s ‘Les Rencontres’ Podcast Drops a New Episode with Mai Sennaar

CHANEL’s Les Rencontres podcast is all about fresh voices—the kind that have just started to shape the literary world. A spin-off of the Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon series, founded in 2021 by CHANEL and House ambassador Charlotte Casiraghi, the podcast puts first-time novelists in the spotlight, diving into their creative process, influences, and the ever-elusive art of storytelling.

“This podcast is dedicated to young literary creation,” Casiraghi explains. “We wanted to meet authors who are just beginning their journey—to explore their writing rituals, their boldness, their doubts, and, ultimately, their inspirations.”

Each episode, introduced by Casiraghi, features conversations led by journalist Lauren Bastide for the French edition and writer and literary critic Erica Wagner for the English version. The latest guest? Mai Sennaar, the Brooklyn-born writer and playwright known for her evocative storytelling and sharp perspective.

New episodes of Les Rencontres drop monthly on CHANEL’s website and through CAMBON PODCASTS, offering an intimate listen into the minds shaping literature today.
