Lolita Jacobs and Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone

Lolita Jacobs and Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone are the Paris-based creative duo behind the independent design studio Jacobs+Talbourdet-Napoleone (LJBTN), established in 2018. Jacobs, formerly the Image Director at Chloé and Courrèges, brings a refined Parisian aesthetic to the partnership. Talbourdet-Napoleone, concurrently serving as the Creative Director of M Le Magazine du Monde, contributes a journalistic sensibility to their collaborative work. Together, they specialize in global image strategy and visual identity, working across disciplines including advertising, branding, digital content, editorial, packaging, and book design.
LJBTN’s portfolio includes collaborations with prestigious brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Moncler, Victoria Beckham, Miu Miu, Lacoste, and Zara. Their approach is characterized by a tailored and personal methodology, with a strong emphasis on storytelling. They have consistently worked with both emerging and established creatives, including photographers like Juergen Teller and Tyler Mitchell, and stylists such as Lotta Volkova and Suzanne Koller.
In addition to their studio work, Jacobs and Talbourdet-Napoleone have engaged in projects that explore the boundaries of fashion imagery. During the COVID-19 lockdown, they produced a fashion portfolio using their own clothes and intimate settings, reflecting on the nature of creativity under constraints. Their art direction for Gucci’s ‘Rosso Ancora’ 2024 campaign, in collaboration with photographer Ezra Petronio, exemplifies their ability to blend minimalism with bold storytelling. Through LJBTN, Jacobs and Talbourdet-Napoleone continue to shape the visual narratives of contemporary fashion with a distinctive and thoughtful approach.
